Last week I went to see a political meeting. It was an odd time (9-10Pm regular power cut time in my city). It was one of the famous actor Ramarajan on stage. He delivered his speech about “Film Actors in Politics”. He compared today’s new part-time politicians with M.G.R . In TamilNadu, Basic qualification for creating a new party is minimum 100 films in his carrer. Two icon actors Vijayakanth & SarathKumar started their own political ride. Ramarajan started kidding about new comers. If acted in 100 films minimum then anyone can start a political party. He invited guinness world record actress[1000films] Manorama (Female Comedy Actress) to create one. Part-time politicians from cinema industry thinks they will become a next MGR. They address themselves as “Blacky MGR”, “Your Next MGR”.  I am sure we are in 2008, No people will just vote for their cinema fantasy. Most funniest thing is both vijayakanth & sarathkumar had no successful films in last 2-3 years. They lost their field.

Tamilans are a bit sensitive about Cinema and Politics. We have few leaders from cinema industry, (Karunanithi, MGR, Jeyalalitha) So new comes thinks they will become a Chief Minister. I wish Mr.Goundamani to start a party and name it like “Kokka Makka Munnetra Kalagam” (KMMK). We are waiting for you sir.
